       JUNE 15th,16th & 17th 2012
 
Mark your calendars for the VCA's 12th Annual “Buffalo River Fest,” which is scheduled for Friday, June 15th  Saturday, June 16th  Sunday June 17th, 2011. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to Midnight on Saturday at the all new Buffalo River Fest Park, located on Ohio Street in downtown Buffalo near HSBC Arena.
 
Their will be a walking historic tour at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday June 16th around the waterfront area, giving participants the opportunity to learn about Buffalo’s rich heritage and historic landmarks. The tour will include The Cobblestone District, DL&W Terminal, the site of the Erie Canal, the grain elevators, and much more.  
  
 
There will be fun for the whole family! Events include the Rigidized Metals River Regatta, an Local Artists and Artisians Show, live music, Waterfront Memories and More Museum tent, fireboat rides, historic walking tour, “I Got It” Bingo, food and refreshments, beer garden, and much more!!

Rigidized River Fest Regatta:
 
 

Design, build and “Float Your Boat” at this year’s Rigidized Riverfest Regatta and find Treasure! [or at least win cash prizes] No restrictions and no limitations other than your imagination. All entries will be judged for creativity by an esteemed panel of Buffalo River Enthusiasts. The boat voted the “Most Creative Seaworthy Vessel” will win a cash prize of $1,000.00. The runner-up will receive $500.00.  Start dreaming and get building. The historic Buffalo River awaits your vision on June 18th, 2011 for the 12th annual Rigidized Riverfest Regatta!!
