Mark your calendars for the VCA's 10th Annual “Buffalo River Fest,” which is scheduled for Friday, June 18th, Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th, 2010. The event will be held from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight on Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to Midnight on Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. until desk on Sunday at Father Conway Park, located between Ohio Street and Louisiana Street in downtown Buffalo near HSBC Arena.

There will be fun for the whole family! Events include a river regatta, live music and entertainment, a classic car show, a waterfront photo and memorabilia display, “I Got It” Bingo, food and refreshments, beer garden, slow pitch softball tournament, and much more!!

Rigidized River Fest Regatta:
 
 

Design, build and “Float Your Boat” at this year’s Rigidized Riverfest Regatta and find Treasure! [or at least win cash prizes] No restrictions and no limitations other than your imagination. All entries will be judged for creativity by an esteemed panel of Buffalo River Enthusiasts. The boat voted the “Most Creative Seaworthy Vessel” will win a cash prize of $1,000.00. The runner-up will receive $500.00.  Start dreaming and get building. The historic Buffalo River awaits your vision on June 19th, 2010 for the 10th annual Rigidized Riverfest Regatta!!
