VCA Seniors

 The VCA Senior Citizen Program is offered at four sites. These sites include the Geraldine Butler Senior Center at 93 Leddy Street, Juliana Apartments at 505 Abbott Rd, Mullen Manor 237 Mineral Springs Rd, and Victory Ridge Apartments at 55 Melroy.

Food:
 
Lunch is prepared and served by our cook Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Lunch is just $2.50 and includes milk, salad bar, entree and dessert.  Lunch is also offered at the satallite locations on Thursdays.
 
Transportation:
 
Transportation to program, doctor appointments, shopping and other necessities is available.  Transportation is available to and from all the VCA senior programs at the various sites Monday through Thursday.  All monetary donations are confidential and you will not be denied service if unable to pay. Regularly Scheduled Activities:
  • Monday (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) - Pinochle Tournament & Hot Lunch
  • Tuesday (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) - Cards, Bingo & Hot Lunch
  • Wednesday (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) - Cards, Bingo & Hot Lunch, Exercise, and Line Dancing Class
  • Thursday (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) - Shopping Shuttle
  •     Victory Ridge- 1st and 3rd Thursday
  •      Juliana Apts-   4th Thursday
  •      Mullen Manor-  3rd Thursday
  • Friday (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) - Night Pinochle Tournament

  • Membership:
Only $5 per year for senior citizens 55+ years, and just $10 per year for seniors 54 years and younger.
