SPECIAL EVENTS
 
The Valley Community Association holds special events are held throughout the year to promote community togetherness, neighborhood heritage, and ethnic pride. These include:
 
“Old Neighborhood” St. Patrick’s Day Parade is held annually in March, usually the Saturday before the dowtown Buffalo St. Patrick's Day Parade.  The “Old Neighborhood” St. Patrick’s Day Parade retraces the original 1913 parade route through the historic streets of the Valley and Old First Ward neighborhoods.
 
Buffalo River Fest is held annually in June.  The Buffalo River Fest aims to showcase, and draw attention to, the history of, and the on-going revitalization of the Buffalo River Front.  The Buffalo River Fest is a two day family festival that includes live music, a river regatta, classic car show, kids area, and more. The event also highlights the revitalization efforts being made along the Buffalo River Front and the recreational opportunities that exist.
 
Other events throughout the year include a Halloween Haunted Hay Ride, a community Easter Egg Hunt, and a Kid Holiday Party.
